Bite Club was built from a genuine love of bringing people together through food, and a belief that some of the best moments happen when you slow down, try something new, and share it with others. What started as a simple idea has grown into something more intentional—something designed to feel personal from start to finish.
Bite Club is your invitation to experience Downtown Modesto in a way most people never do. Over the course of four thoughtfully selected stops, you’ll taste your way through some of our favorite local spots, each with its own story, flavor, and personality.
But this isn’t just about the food.
It’s about connection. Conversation. Discovery.
It’s about sitting at the table, trying something new, and realizing how food brings us all together—across cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Every stop is a chance to slow down, share a moment, and see our city through a different lens.

MEET SARA: HOST OF BITE CLUB
Sara Lowry-Dominguez
Hi there! I’m Sara—the founder of Bite Club Food Tour and the voice behind each experience.
My journey started in Downtown Modesto as the host of the “Back of House” Food Tour, a program created with me in mind. What began as a role quickly turned into something more—a real connection to the stories, people, and places that shape our city’s food scene.
When the opportunity came to take the tour in a new direction, I jumped on it. I acquired and reimagined it as Bite Club, giving it a fresh identity and a more intentional vision rooted in storytelling, connection, and a genuine love for this community.
Today, Bite Club is designed to feel less like a tour and more like being shown around by someone who truly knows and loves this place. Each stop is thoughtfully selected, each story carefully shared, creating an experience that goes beyond the plate.
At its core, what I do is build story-driven experiences that shape how people connect with place—one bite at a time.
